Sao Thai Duong Company donated more than 150 billion VND to fight against Covid 19

Sao Thai Duong produces and donates 50,000 rapid covid tests to the Ministry of Health, products to support Covid-19 prevention to many front-line hospitals, spreading positive messages.

More than two years since the Covid 19 epidemic appeared, many businesses have responded to the Government’s call to action to join hands in the fight against the epidemic. Sao Thai Duong is one of the businesses operating in the health-related field with many active contributions with more than 150 billion VND.

From 2020 to March 2022, Sao Thai Duong sponsored money and medical products to prevent epidemics such as donating 50,000 Covid-19 diagnostic test kits to the Ministry of Health worth 20 billion VND; donated products to support the treatment of Covid 19 to the Hospital of Traditional Medicine (Bac Giang province); accompanying the Central Tropical Hospital; Ha Giang Provincial Lung Hospital; Hai Hau Doctors Association to prevent epidemics.

In 2020, Sao Thai Duong transfers technology, researches and produces two SARS-CoV-2 rapid test kits, RT PCR and RT-LAMP, contributing to the health industry in fighting the epidemic. The two research projects of RT-PCR and RT-LAMP were honored along with 63 other works in the “Vietnamese Innovation Gold Book” 2020 of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. These two test kit products are licensed for circulation in Europe and Vietnam.

Other service products such as Valentine’s mouthwash, Thai Duong nose and throat spray, Thai Duong silver nano gel… are also used by doctors, medical staff and frontline agencies in the fight against the epidemic.

With the responsibility of an entrepreneur working in the field of pharmaceutical science and technology, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien (Deputy General Director of Sao Thai Duong Joint Stock Company) and Sao Thai Duong’s Executive Boards have taken necessary and responsible actions to help prevent the epidemic.

Although the company has to go through adversity such as the halt of the new factory construction, reduced employment salary, and paying large loans, we were always happy to help prevent the spread of the epidemic.”, said Mrs. Lien.

From the beginning of the epidemic until now, the total value of support for anti-epidemic activities of the Ministry of Health, localities and frontline agencies in the fight against the epidemic has reached more than 150 billion VND. According to Ms. Lien, this comes from the collective spirit of Sao Thai Duong, from the hearts of people to people, which is also the core business philosophy of an enterprise, and the Vietnamese brand is loved by consumers.

“With these activities, the Board of Directors of Sao Thai Duong wishes to contribute a small part to share with the community and join hands to fight the epidemic.
