On November 16, the closing program “Classroom bookcase” took place in Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh province. Attending the program were many leaders from central and local departments. On the side of Sao Thai Duong Joint Stock Company, there was the presence of Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien – Master, Pharmacist, Deputy General Director of the company.
In the morning of November 16, at the 3/2 Cultural House, Lieu De town, the celebration of Vietnam Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2018) took place, summarizing the emulation movement ” Two Goods” for the 2017-2018 school year and the building program “Classroom Bookcase”. At the ceremony, Sao Thai Duong was honored to be one of the few typical units to receive the certificate of merit from Nghia Hung district for constructive contributions to the development of Nam Dinh province in general and Nghia Hung district in particular.
In the afternoon of the same day, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien was present at C Nghia Son Primary School to donate books and bookcases to two primary schools B and C Nghia Son elementary schools. At the ceremony, she gave an inspirational speech to develop the reading movement and the benefits that books bring to people: “Books are a precious resource of mankind, books not only bring knowledge but also bring value to the person reading it. With the desire to bring students useful books, help them have more knowledge to firmly step into life, Sao Thai Duong Joint Stock Company and other benefactors have joined hands to build a Class Bookcase with the motto “Providing books – Providing future.” All the books in the Classroom Bookcase program are carefully selected and scientifically classified to make them easy to read, easy to understand and arouse curiosity in the children. I really hope that with these books, they will have more useful knowledge, learn more skills and experience to build the country tomorrow.” Also in the ceremony, 9 excellent students of the two schools were also presented with books by Ms. Lien that she personally bought and signed.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Principal of C Nghia Son Primary School thanked Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien for her contributions to the locality: “On behalf of the Board of Directors and students of the two Primary Schools B and Primary Schools B and Primary Schools C Nghia Son, I would like to thank for the affection and valuable contribution both material and spiritual that Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien – Master, Pharmacist, Deputy General Director of Sao Thai Duong Joint Stock Company has given. for education at home. With these useful books, from now on, the students of the two schools will have closer access to new knowledge, they will no longer worry about being outdated due to the geographical distance from students in the city.
Summarizing the program, Sao Thai Duong Joint Stock Company sponsored the whole district’s book program worth about VND 1.5 billion for 3 years.
